See how the plug-in works, step by step in video, and how it automates your checks in Revit.

  1. General information

Usage, height, area, and storeys: A few key details are enough to position your building within the code and guide all subsequent checks.

  2. The construction advisor

The advisor filters the applicable articles and recommends the construction type and the requirements to be met. Codex BIM recommends. You decide.

  3. Means of egress

Travel distances, exit widths, and occupant loads are calculated directly from the model, room by room. Any discrepancies are flagged on the plan.

  4. Fire resistance

Each wall, floor, and separation is read from the model and compared to the required fire-resistance rating. Compliant, non-compliant, or not documented, all visible at a glance.

  5. Deliverables

Fire safety plans, compliance reports, and Code tables. Generated from the model, in French or English, without ever modifying it.
